Founded by Sameerah Hoddison (aka Samee Tatu), SAMA moves through fragrance, beauty, photography, and object. Always intentional. Never trying too hard.

SAMA starts with a hunch. A note. A sketch. A mood you can’t quite name—but you know when you're onto something. From there, it’s all instinct, editing, and knowing when to stop.

The process is slow, but not soft. Every element—scent, material, image—is tested, layered, and stripped back until it feels like it was always meant to exist. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is padded. And absolutely nothing is here to fill space.

Crafted with curiosity. Finished with taste.

SAMA started as a side project. Long shoots. Late nights. Too much noise. I needed something that didn’t talk back—so I started making candles. No vision board. No grand plan. Just scent, wax, and the need to feel something shift.

Turns out, fragrance is just makeup for your house. Same rules apply: undertone, texture, mood. I’d been shaping presence through skin and image for years—this was the same thing, just with fire.

One candle turned into two. Two turned into a studio. Now it’s a whole thing.
